Solution

Well, another important thing I found out about outfit posts: Get a tripod.
Apparently a drop from the mountain of books can do awful things to a camera. So long story short I need a new camera.
I can't get a new camera until I find a job.
*sigh*
Things aren't working out to well at the moment.
